Hello! My name is Jennifer, and this is my sewing blog! I have been an avid crafter, animal lover, and sewist for as long as I can remember. I began playing around with needle and thread as a toddler, and the passion only grew from there. I’ve sewn as a hobbyist through the majority of my life, and then decided to begin turning my craft into my profession several years ago. Now I am fortunate enough to have been able to develop my own at-home business, the Menagerie Collection, that affords me the luxury of being able to perfect my craft as I work.
You may be asking yourself “Why are there horses all over a sewing blog?” Well, the simple answer is, they are my horses…yes, all 4 of them. I am a Lexington, KY native and have grown up riding all my life. When the time came to choose a name for my fledgling business, I could think of no better way to honor my original equine partner, Lily than to name the company after her. Thus, Tigerlily Threads was born.
